Dallas Bergen
Dallas Bergen was born in Saskatchewan and moved to Calgary in 1968 to study art at the University of Calgary. His love of painting continued throughout a career in construction. In 1994 he painted a historical mural for the Mustard Seed Street Ministry in Calgary. Following the unveiling of the mural he developed an art program at the Seed. The program operated on a drop-in basis twice a week for seven years. In 2009 Dallas entered full time ministry as director of Crossnet Ministries a position he still holds. The primary purpose of his art is to portray the wonder of creation (Romans 1:20) and/or illustrate the eternal Life that is available through Jesus Christ.
